hello,
i am trying to find some history of my ancestry. i am told that my family of mosbys come from somewhere around blackstone,va. my Grandfather Dewey Mosby was born here in baltimore,county (1898), but his father whose name was Hubert Mosby was born somewhere in Virgina. I beleive Hubert had a sister named Ida. i do know that Hubert had a brother ,named John S. Mosby who lived in baltimore, county , but that is where we run into a blank wall as to where in va did we derive from before coming to Baltimore, Md. anyone with any information please pot me a message here or e-mail me @ awade0363@msn.com i really would like to find my other relatives. My mother's name is Mildred Mosby-Smith . she is the daughter of Dewey Mosby. I am also born a Mosby. Thank you for any light anyone can shed on this matter as i would love to know all about my family.
