Please Help - Need info. on the Moore family

I’m doing research on my son-in-laws family. I’m seeking information on an African American named John General Moore or General John Moore born about 1853 in Tennessee.

In 1910, he went by General, in 1920 by John and in 1930 by General again so I don’t really know which name was his first name. Below is all I’ve been able to find on his family so far.

Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated. I would like to find out what his parents and siblings names were and what his first wife’s name was. Would also like to communicate with any relatives. Sincerely, Linda

This is what I have on Gill Moore. I know he married Bertha Johnson about 1919 in Oklahoma and they had six children that I know of - Sie D., unknown child, Ethel, Willie, Charley and Geraldine. [This is my son-in-laws line]. I also know that Gill and Bertha were listed twice in the 1920 census. See the census for General Moore listed above.

Phil’s obituary was in the Okmulgee Daily Times - Thursday August 31, 1972 - Page 2, Col. 7 under Fill Moore but it didn’t list his parents. However it does say that he was buried in Beggs Cemetery.

Lastly, I found the following names online in the Beggs Black Cemetery in Beggs, Oklahoma but can’t prove they're related.
