D.Z.,
You are looking for Alva Felder Mixon (b. Aug. 9, 1890-d. July 1974). Son of James Teacle Mixon and Mary Pauline (Polly) Travis. His wife was Eunice Brabham. If you go to Bushy and Mike Hartman's website, there is a lot of documentation for this family. Just Google "Mixon/Mixson Cousins" and it will take you there. Most census records list him as a farmer, however, his Social Security Number indicates that at the time he registered he was a Railroad worker. In fact the Illinois Central RR runs right through McComb, Ms.
Regards,
Larry Mixon
