I am looking for information about my great grandfather. The Bible says Dea Mixon. The 1900 census shows him in Tarrant County, Tx and it says his birthday was May 1870 with his place of birth Mississippi as also his father with his mother born in Arkansas. I know his first child, my grandmother, Atha, was born in Red River Co. TX. Her younger sister, Della, was born a couple of years later in Denton County, TX. Just found new info that says a little boy named D.B. Mixon was born in 1902, Red River Co., TX and died about a year later, with Dea dying Feb 15, 1903. I believe they were near McAlester, OKla by then. There are no Indian Terr records for deaths that year. In 1900 there is a Mixon living in Red River Co.": William W. Mixon born in 1867, Wife, Annie, dtrs, Myrtle and Rutha or Ruthie. I believe they also went to Pittsburg County, Oklahoma. I have been unable to find either of these Mixons before 1900 and would so like to know what line of MIxons I belong to. C
