I have been looking for two sisters, Jane Mixon b. in 1850, and Anne b. abt 1853.
I have found Jane F. Mixon b. 1850 to Michael and Mary Mixon in Burke Co. GA. in the 1850 US Census.
Michael and Mary Mixon were both born in 1826 in GA.
Michael Mixon's father is Michael Mixon b. 1791 in SC.
Michael and Mary are both dead by the 1860 census. Jane is living with the I. N. Townsend family in 1860 census.
I am looking for any other children Michael and Mary Mixon had.
This information that I found follows along with a family story told to us by our great aunt.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have researched this difficult family since 1988, and it has been a challenge.
