I am trying to find out who D. or Dea Mixon was and who his parents were. He married Artie McKelva in 1896 either in Arkansas or in Texas. I believe it is he in Tarrant Co., in 1900, separated from ARtie. The census says he was born May? 1700 and he and his father were born in MI and his mother Arkansas. I have a family story he was killed in a fight probably in Pittsburg Co, OK between 1900 and 1904.I believe he worked in mining both in Tarrant Co and in Oklahoma. I need help in finding out who he was. He was my great grandfather.
