A search of the 1886 marriage records of Russell Co, VA on the Russell County, VA Genealogy site at Rootsweb, shows an Abner Meade, 24, white, single, born Russell Co, Va, son of Jackson and Francis Meade married Susan Grubb, 16, white, single, born in Grayson Co, Va, daughter of Joseph and Sarah Grubb. They were married by N.B. Gray.
I don't have a Jackson Meade in my information. Hope this helps. Pamela Smith
