I am searching for information on the family of Abner B. Meade and Susanna Grubb. They married January 26, 1886 in Russell Co., Virginia. I do not have the father listed for Abner. Susanna was the daughter of Joseph Grubb and Celia Jones. I have 5 children listed for this couple: (1)Steward Meade bn. May 21, 1890, Wiley Meade bn. June 24, 1892, Edward Meade bn. August 3, 1894, Lelia Meade bn. September 1896, and Lou Meade bn. 1900. Susanna must have died before the 1900 Russell Co., Va. census as Abner is listed in his father-in-law's household and is listed as widowed. After this census he is found with a wife named "Ida" in the 1910 and 1920 Russell Co. census. In 1930 he again was widowed and living with his daughter, Ellen, and her husband, Marshall Lampkins. This was a daughter he had with his second wife. Also a daughter Bessie was born to the second marriage.
Any information concerning this family or the descendants would be greatly appreciated.
