I am looking for information on Clara Meade Landis.
She was the daughter of Comodore Richard Worsham Meade.
I have not figured out if she was divorced from her husband Charles K Landis or if they were just legally seperated.
In 1878, she got custody of her children by ruling of the NJ Supreme court. Well she got custody until they reached the age of seven. Then they were turned over to their father. The 2 boys were Charles Landis and Richard Landis
I am trying to figure out where she went. I saw a mention that she moved to California. Any information would be appreciate.
