Hi Tavondre - I am not related to your McRae's, but I found this information:
1930 Federal Census in Harleesville Township, Dillon County, South Carolina:
Simon J. McInnis, age 44 yrs, born about 1886 in South Carolina, married at age 19 yrs (about 1905-1906). He was a "Laborer, General Farm".
His wife is Martha, age 41 yrs, born about 1889 in South Carolina, married at age 17 years (about 1905-1906). She was a "Servant, Private Family".
They have an adopted daughter Ailine, age 19 yrs, born about 1911 in South Carolina. She was a "Laborer, General Farm".
1920 Federal Census in Harleesville Township, Dillon County, South Carolina:
Simon McInnis, age 29 yrs, born about 1891 in South Carolina. He was a Farm Laborer.
His wife is Martha, age 26 yrs, born about 1894 in South Carolina. She was not employed in 1920.
Their niece Alene, age 7 yrs, born about 1913 in South Carolina. It says her father was born in Virginia and her mother in South Carolina. She attended school during the year.
It sounds like this could be your great-grandma Ailene and her aunt Martha. Ages change from census to census, so ages and birthdates are not exact. Spelling of names changes a lot, too!
Simon McInnis registered for the draft in Dillon County in Sept 1918. On his draft registration, it shows his birthdate as December 6th 1884 and his wife is named Martha. Simon worked on the farm of K.L. McDonald. They lived in Little Rock, Dillon County. Little Rock and Harleesville are different names for the same town.
P.S. Dillon County was part of Marion County until 1910, when it became a county of its own. AND…

Head of family: Aug McRae, age 25, born Jan 1875 in South Carolina. Farm laborer.
Wife: Eliza McRae, age 24, born June 1875 in South Carolina. Married for 10 years. Mother of five children, four still living in 1900:
Daughter Martha McRae, age 12, born Dec 1887
Daughter Mary McRae, age 7, born Jan 1893
Son Herbert McRae, age 5, born Aug 1894
Daughter Maggie, age 2, born Dec 1897
