My grandmother was Dorothy Georgina Ross, born 1894 in Dundee, Scotland, to Donald Ross and Jessie Mae Hollis; came to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada before 1915; married Charles David Rock in Winnipeg in 1915; lived in the Detroit, Michigan, from 1923 until her death in 1964. Her sisters were Mary Jane Ross, Jessie Hollis Ross, Magdeline Carnegie Ross, Elizabeth Blackburn Ross, and Maggie McCulloch Ross. In 1923 when she entered the U.S., my grandmother stated her sister "Margaret Ross McRae lived at the corner of 8th Avenue and Scott in Vancouver, British Columbia. I'm seeking information on Margaret Ross McRae and more on my grandmother's family. I have information to share on this family, but I only have information on the Ross (not McRae) line, who traveled from Scotland to Canada and then some were in the northern U.S. Any information will be appreciated.
