Maze genetics

I married into the Maze family and there's strange genetic problem with some of my children. It's called mandibilar tori. In the bottom of their mouth beneath the tongue, the bottom gums are thickening. A dentist told my daughter what it was called and said it was genetic. Also, she would have trouble fitting dentures unless the bone was shaved off. But it would gradually grow back again. My oldest son has it and a dentist told him the same thing. my second born son has it. Also, my youngest daughter, her son and her daughter. Neither me nor their father had it. But I found out that mostly asian and eskimos have it. As far as I know I nor their father was either asian or eskimo. But one can never tell. My husband died in 1990 and I can't ask him about it. His name was Ray Ancel Maze son of Charles Thomas Maze and Mother, Dora Dow. If anyone in the Maze families has this disorder let me know. I intend asking my own side of family too.
