My husband's paternal grandmother was a Mayes and we live in Illinois. If you are related to Robert Burnside 1717-1742 and Ester Mayes 1721-1756 d/o James Mayes 1700-1756 then you are related to my husband. Please contact me if the connection fits or if I can be of any help to you.
