Am looking for any information regarding parents, siblings, etc. of William L. Mays. When I have found something about him, (which is very little), information is that he was born in Virginia. Have no information as to when he died, but do know that he did live in Crockett County, Tennessee. As far as I know, he had two wives. First was Nancy Burrow, married 26 Sep 1860. Second was Elva (Elvie Jane) Skipper, married sometime between Feb 1869 and May 1874. I came up with those dates of his second marriage from the date of birth of his last child with first wife and date of birth of child with second wife.
Haven't been able to find him on census records as of yet but am still looking. Anyone missing this fellow from their family line?
