We've been trying to trace our branch of what was the Mays family by the time they arrived in WV. We have found (different varieties of the spelling) Mays "early" and can trace from my great-grandfather Samuel Mays (who married a Coon) of Comfort, WV back to Pleasant Mays who married a Clardy-------but we can't connect Pleasant Mays to his parentage. Have you any info that might help?
