I am looking for information on Minnie Camille Mays born in Texas about April 15, 1878. She was the daughter of Delia Boatner born in Louisana, and Enoch Grigsby Mays Jr. born in Flordia. They were divorced in 1883 in Dallas Texas. E. G. Mays Jr. remarried Eula Mims of Alabama and they had four kids. Delia remarried in 1886 to John M Moody. They had three children, two daughters who survived, Norma Moody and Hallie B. Moody. They lived in Fort Worth, Midland, and Eddy, NM. John died in 1911 of a heart attack while working on a mining interest in Colorado, and Delia died in about 1923 in Ft Worth. Camille disappears from history after 1923 when she left Ft. Worth, except for one record when her half sister from her mother's first marriage died in July 1959 that she was living in San Diego, CA. She probably never married. It is believed that she may have died about 1959/1961, because she was not included in the probate of her half sister as an heir. She is not listed in the death records of California or the social security death index. She may have lived in New Orleans and San Antonia Texas with Norma Besancon in the period after 1923 and probably got to California in the late 1930s. Norma Moody Besancon was her half sister from her mother's second marriage, and Hallie Boatner Moody Gowan was her half sister for her mother's second marriage.
