I am looking for information on my dad, Jonas/Jonah Mays, born with surname Shannel/Shannell. He died about 1955 and was buried in northern Louisiana.
He had three children, Stella E. Mays (myself), Mary Mays, and John D. Mays.
I'm looking for a John D. Mays, who was born in Louisiana, in early 1930s, but resided in Texas, and worked at one point in Mexico.
I'm also looking for any Shannel/Shannells from De Soto or Red River Parishes in Louisiana.
