I'm getting in too big of a hurry; sorry for all these postings. I also meant to add that Benjamin Mays (b. 1806) is on the 1850 White Co., Tenn., census with three of his sons listed (James G., 20/21; John D., 17; William C., 11). That matches with the information I got from the Mays book and it matches with the 1840 census. I don't know what became of the fourth son by Martha. Notify Administrator about this message?
