Looking for names of grandchildren and great-grandchildren of John B. Mays and Rachel Gay. They had five sons (all believed to have been born in N.C.)

I am particularly interested in the eldest and youngest brothers. I am a descendant of James Gay Mays through his daughter Sarah Ann (who married James Alexander Swink). I am working on a commemorative history being prepared for the sesquicentennial celebration of the Mays Cemetery in Rusk Co., Texas, which will occur in 2006. John Mandeville Mays founded this cemetery.
