Hello,

well I had to get a professional researcher to help me out with my Lunds as the are being very difficult to locate as there was such a huge age difference between my great grandparents!

It's been proven my great (x3) grandfather was Henry Lund and he married an Alice Chaffer in 1816. I was given a long list of possibles as to who Henry's father was and, for somereason, the Henry born to Thomas of 'Know' and his wife in Colne in 1792, felt as though was 'my Henry'.

Also, the 1st child of my great grandfather's 1st marriage was born in 1871 in Colne, prehaps near an 80 year old Henry? If you'd like to swap information, then my email is mattmeyer@supanet.com and I'll gladly send you a gedcom of the information I've got.

Matt
