I have considered that possibility but can't understand why the name would be so different. Everything fits except the name. There is a story in the family that Lillian Dora and her brother were raised by different families. I have tried to follow that theory but have not been able to find her listed in any census with another family. And, also, to support your thought about the wrong name, she named her first child Mariah.
