Not sure if there is any connection. My ggg grandmother was born in Eccleston, near Liverpool in 1821 and her name was Ellen.
As far as I know the Laceys all came from Ireland, so possibly your ggg grandmother and mine are connected. I don't know much more about them, this a branch off my main tree I have not really studied thoroughly.
I will keep your e-mail and get in touch if I come across a Margaret.
