All Crewkerne Lacey Hunters
I'm trying to find the relationship of two Lacey girls from Crewkerne. They married two Churchill boys. Any info would be good.
The first is Harriet Lacey who was married to Joseph Churchill. In the 1841UK census Joseph age 25 and Harriet Churchill age 20 were living at Lye Water Crewkerne with a daughter Louisa age 3 and Harriet's mother Mary Lacey age 60.
The second is Elizabeth Lacey who was married to Charles Churchill. In the 1851 UK census Charles age 26 and Elizabeth Churchill age 29 were living in South St Crewkerne with a son John age 6 months. They were married at Crewkerne on the 15.6.1848. Charles was the nephew of my great x2 grandfather. I have not found Joseph but he may have been Charles' brother.
Anyway the question is were Harriet and Elizabeth sisters or cousins or aunt and niece etc.? If anyone has the baptisms/births or parentage of the two ladies concerned and can give details I'd be very pleased.
Bye for now

Roger Baines
