I didn't see a connection between our families, my great great grandfather was a John Lacey. From what I understand the Lacey's were from Inishark Island. John married Catherine Needham. Both of these are from the Clifden area. They had 4 sons Festus, John, Michael and Thomas and then my great grandmother Mary Elizabeth who was born in 1882 and baptized @ St. Joseph's Church in Clifden. I haven't tried to yet, but you may get some info throught the church. I have just started looking myself.
