I have additional information:

Dorothea Charlotte Klein was born in Wiesau in Schleisen, Germany. She was in a prison or detention center in Kassel about 1948 (not sure when she started or why). She was impregnated by a black American GI during this time. I am not sure if she voluntarily gave up her baby or if the baby was taken from her. The baby was born January 6, 1948 and was named Lilie Resi Klein. In July 1948 the baby was adopted by an American family based in Germany with the US Army. Documents show Dorothea could not be located and therefore they did not need to obtain her permission. No other information about the father was provided in the adoptions papers.

Can anyone out there help to fill in the blanks? Thanks so much.
