Chester Charles Kirtley lived around Union Star, Mo. around the 1930's-mid 1950's when he passed away. Union Star is located about 20 miles north of St. Joseph, Mo. He married Luella Elizabeth Thornberry in the late 1920's to early 1930's. She was from the St. Joseph area. She was born around 1906 and lived until 1982. They had five sons. Charles Chester born around 1931 now lives in Iowa, David born around 1932-2002 or 2003 resided outside of Union Star, James born around 1934, residence is now outside of Union Star, Samuel Hale born 1941 (my father) resides on the family farm outside of Union Star, and Robert Eugene born around 1946 resides outside of Faucett, Mo.
I know we must be related somehow some way. I do know that my Grandfather Chester had three brothers. One was named Samuel as my father is named after him. I had an aunt Loretta (married to Charles), who was doing our family geneology when she passed away in 1987, but I am not sure what happened to all that information.
I would love to get started researching myself so any responses would be appreciated.
