Hey Cousins, I am also descended from the Texas Kirtleys'
Victor's father Theodore A Kirtley was the brother to my gggrandmother Laura Taylor Kirtley b. KY d. TX. You should be able to find information in the following Texas counties: Johnson, Stephens, Young, Tarrant, and Ellis. This family migrated back and forth from Texas to California. Let me know if that helps.
