Hi again Beth. Thanks for your message. It is very interesting. I wonder what the realtionship is between Isaac 1792 and Everton 1877. I had never seen the older Isaac's birthdate before. Now that you have clarified the dates for me, I am thinking he was perhaps a Grandfather, Great Uncle???? Don't really know. In fact, I haven't really gotten beyond Everton and W.C. I will have to check to see what info. I have regarding Mary McDOWELL's siblings, ie. names, but what you say seems likely as Mary's mother who was "Comfort" MARVEL had an aunt Lavina ROGERS who m. Prettyman MARVEL. Comfort's mother was Orpha ROGERS who m. Elisha MARVEL. Orpha and Lavina were sisters and apparently were well known "herbalists", perhaps midwives, ? serving their communities in Indiana and probably in KY where they lived for a couple of years.
Is the above clear to you? Sometimes I wonder if I am thinking the lineage correctly. So many names and dates and I usually don't have my data right in front of me. I'm not that organized, so I depend on memory which is faulty at times.
As I mentioned, we have never been able to find out who Everton's first wife was. I don't have the names of Everton's second wife, or the names of their children. Would appreciate any names dates etc. that you could fill in for me.
