Thankyou for your response Jennifer - yes indeed we are part of the same "branch" !! I am the oldest child of Kitty ( Kathleen Mabel) who was Arnold's youngest sister.
I went to Dannevirke High School with your Aunty Gay ( Castles) and we played in the school hockey team together. Your Uncle Bruce came and stayed with us in Brisbane in 2000 and we keep in touch with him. i used to have Ralph's email address but lost it some time back, along with Gay & Tom's when we "upgraded" our computer & lost the entire address book in the process !! It would be good to be back online with them.

Yes my husband & I are coming over for the Reunion - what a pity you can't be there. I wonder if it was your daughter's, Mellissa & ? that I met about 5 or 6 years ago when I was staying at my brother Barry's Adenture Park at Tauranga ? Or are they your neices? They had such a lot of fun with Grandad Ralph on the Cargo net and playing beach volleyball ! I am sad that Ralph now has health challenges that will probably make it unlikely he'll be at the Reunion - do give him our best wishes and tell him if he'd like email access to us Barry has our address. I believe there are around 80 people registered now so it will be a great gathering.

Do you know where the headstone for Tom's parents is in Wanganui ( I think it was theirs Ralph spoke of - or is it the Billinghurst side ? ) I would like access to your other family information if you are happy to send it.

My maiden name was Anderson & I was christened Marion Anne but I recently changed my middle name to ALDERSON as I have found that was originally the family name on my father's side. His grandparents were from Tasmania and 7 years ago my husband & i bought a cottage in Stanley ( N.W. Tassie) and we plan to retire there by the end of 2005.

Nice to have heard from you & good luck with your research efforts ( what a pity the you can't be there ) The only info I had on Joseph Kennerley was what I got from Ralph so I can't enlighten you any further unfortunately.)

Best wishes to you & yours Marion
