My gr grandfather Kennerly B. Wonacott was born in Suffolk Nansemond, Co VA 8-27-1819. His father was Richard Wonacott
who served in the Revolution. His mother was Lucinda ?, possibly a Kennerly??? This is purely speculation and upon seeing this Kennerly forum, thought I'd give it a try.
The name Wonacott or Wonnacott or Arnacott (many incorrect spellings along the way) has it's origins in Devonshire England.
Any information or clues would be appreciated.
