Hi, I am sifting through hours of interesting stuff here as I have begun the hunt for my Kellogg ancestors. I am interested to see a Chester,as not many of the lines have that name and they all like to use the same family names a lot it seems. My grandpa was Chester Earl, so I am curious if there could be a relationship back a ways. I don't have much info to go on. His parents were George and Ida Kellogg and Georges parents were Ira and Elizabeth Kellogg. I had been told the story of some brothers coming over to Canada together and then some on down later to the states. We were told that Ira and Elizabeth were married at Fort Hope in Canada, but that is all I have is by word of mouth. I looked it up on the internet and I found a Port Hope, which has a fun site and is very Scotttish still today. Interesting...but that is all I can say for now. I would love to find some connections to some branch of this family so I can get the line going back. Thanks.
