Hello to whomever is reading this: I am looking into the Japanese side of my family as I have recently discovered that my Oba-chan's surname is Akaoka. I don't know the exact kanji for the name, but I've been told it may have had something to do with a tree or other 'strong plant' (my grandmother has dementia and is not good with english). I am looking for ANY information regarding ANY branch of the Akaoka family. Your help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Notify Administrator about this message?
