Oshe-mal-ma-ark and Oshe-wal-ma-noche
Looking for these 2 women. One of them was the mother and the grandmother. A Thomas Henry was born to one of them in 8 JUL 1831 in Switzerland county IN. died 1910 MAR Tipton IN. married Sarah Ann Bradshaw born 14 NOV 1832 Hamilton IN. died 26 JUL 1903 Tipton IN. They were married 21 JUN 1853. He was a full blood Native American adopted by Elijah Henry born 16 MAY 1808 Harrison KY died 3 JUL 1883 Boyleston IN. married on 1825 in Harrison KY to Jane C. Layton born in 1809 KY.
We think they are Cherokee from what the family has said, but we dont know what tribes their names are from. Cherokee,Choctaw, Shawnee, or Miami? Hope to have some input or relatives responding. Please write at keewest@earthlink.net.
