Hi, You might want to check the census for 1870 in Geneva
County, Ala. There was a woman named Mary Woodall/Woodell
who came there with my GGG Grandfather, Benjamin Pate and his wife, Clarissa Moore. Mary lived in the house next door and bore Ben Pate ten children. It is said that she
was native american. She came from North Carolina to Alabama. Some of her decendants are still located in Holmes co, Florida (just a stones throw from Geneva co, Ala)
Hope this helps!!, Please let me know if you find anything
positive.
