I am researching the following surnames with stories of Indian ancestry:

TERRELL (Cherokee - Joseph Terrell, Sr., born c.1760 NC, d.1843 Amite Co, MS)

HEWITT (Cherokee - Anna Hewitt, w/o of Joseph Terrell, born c.1765 GA?, d.1838-43 MS)

CHOAT (Cherokee/Choctaw - Thomas Choat, born 1790 NC)

JONES (Cherokee - LaVesta Jones w/o Thomas Choat, born 1792 KY)

SATCHELL (Seminole? - Letha Angeline Satchel, born c.1820 SC)

CUMBY (?? - possibly out of SC, allied to the Satchel name in some way.)

MALONE (?? - early Malones in VA traded with the Saponie and other tribes)

HARRELL (?? - Susannah Harrell, born 1784 NC/SC/VA?? - said to perhaps have some Indian blood)

NORTHCUTT (?? - William Northcutt, born c.1760 VA, d.1839 Darlington, SC; a grandson's Arkansas bio intimates there may be some Indian blood through a Northcutt great-grandmother, hence William's maternal side.)

SKAIN/CHARNER-TURNER?? (Adam Skain, Sr., born c.1753, wife said to be a Charner or Turner, and possibly Indian. Adam resided in Union District SC)

Many of these are brick walls, which is why I've included the principals being researched. Any clues/help appreciated.
