Thank you for writing Olivia. Yes, my Woodalls were in Oklahoma. George and Ellen were "Old Settlers". They left the Eastern Cherokee Territory before the Trail. From there they went to Arkansas and then to Oklahoma. If you look in the Old Settlers Rolls, Ellen is listed under Aisley. I'm not sure about your Moore, but it's very possible they were related. I've also heard tales that George had a brother named Thomas that was living in Texas. If this rings a bell let me know. As for family in Oklahoma, well, it hasn't been promising. Let's just say I can't afford to send birth certificates and death certificates to everybody in the Oklahoma Woodall lines just to prove who my great-grandfather was. If that's what they want then they'll have to wait until the next big family reunion. You know what I mean? I don't mean to ramble. Force of habit. lol Well, if you hear any more feel free to contact me personally. And if I find out anything else I'll contact you. Good luck.
---Valerie
