I found some sites that may have been missed by persons researching. If the researcher(s) are not from Canada or Nova Scotia they might miss some of the local stuff in particular. 1911 Census of Canada Indexing Project 6th Annual Foundation Dinner Cumberland Health Care Foundation Nova Scotia History Index - Truman books may help! NS Memorial Marking Index (cemetaries) Men In the Mines - (Hunter members down in the Springhill Mining Disasters) Grantors, Cumberland Registry Eaton Thomas Morse Public Pages Found at least one Hunter at a site "Our Maritime Ties" dealing with certain families Canada 411 is the Postal Canada for finding Hunter family members listed in Canada. I also wish to mention in case you are new to this game, it can be a long process so perhaps a lot of researchers do what I do, if I have a name that has married into the family I do a short search for that family name in the province/state/country if you have it, where the spouse originated. You will wonder about some of these sites as they are recent events but a name might help you go backwards or you could always contact via letter a person with the family name you are researching. Hope this does help someone! Sincerely Notify Administrator about this message?
