I found a small newspaper clipping in my Father's bible and I thought some of you might enjoy it. This man Harvey Hopkins is or was my father's nephew. ________________________________________________________ TRAIN RUMBLES OVER MAN, BUT HE ESCAPES INJURIES A locomotive and 40 freight cars ran over Harvey Hopkins of Catlettsburg, Ky., but he escaped without a scratch. Police, taking Hopkins to jail on a charge of intoxication, said the train did not even awaken the man as he lay between the rails where he had curled up to take a nap. ____________________________________________________________ Amazing isn't it. I can remember my Mother talking about this when I was a small child. I believe this had to have happen somewhere between 1955 to 1965. although I'm not sure. If anyone knows of this man I would appreciate hearing from them. Harvey Hopkins mother was Alka or Alkie Thompson Hopkins and she was my aunt. Don't know his fathers name.
