Obit of Isaac H. Hopkins
Isaac H. Hopkins died September 15, 1915 at Hastlings, Adams county, Nebraska at the age of 88 years, 3 months, and 25 days of old age and paralysis. He was born at McConneillsville, OHio in 1828, where he grew to manhood - emigrated to Waploco, Iowa, in 1849.He was married to Margaret J. Davis in 1852 in Iowa. To this union six children were born, three of whom survive them. Ethelyn Lindsay of Omaha and John D. and Charles W of Ord. His wife died 35 years ago. In their early years he and his wife unitted with the church of thier choice. In which they worked until age made it impossible. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Arthur Tipton at the Elyria Baptist Church last Saturday morning. (The Ord Quiz, Thursday, September 23, 1915, Page 7, Col. 4.
