This record is copied from two pages titled Births and Deaths from THE ILLUSTRATED POLYGLOT FAMILY BIBLE, Philadelphia: Quaker City Publishing Co, 1871 (a large family Bible with "Freeman B. Hopkins" stamped in gilt on the front cover.) This genealogy page is being donated to the Warren County (PA) Historical Society and will be available for copying from the society thru their office.
The pages have no dates for Freeman B. Hopkins Sr. although it indicates that Susanne Hepler Hopkins was born June 5th, 1840.
BIRTHS:William Willington Hopkins was born August 25th 1866 Forest Co, PA
Sarah Janet Hopkins was born April 17th 1868 Forest Co. PA.
Frederic S. Hopkins was born september 29th 1870 Forest Co.PA
Freeman B. Hopkins Jr. was born June 1872 Forest Co. PA.
Rachel Leah Hopkins was born December 11th 1874 Clarion Co. PA.
DEATHS: Mrs. Susanne Hepler -Hopkins died September 14th -1913.
Freeman B. Hopkins Jr. died June 1872.
Frederic S. Hopkins died May 22- 1939
William Willington Hopkins died March 22, 1943
(all entries except for the last appear to be in the same handwriting. The Bible apparently had a photograph section as well, but those pages had been removed.)
I have done no work on these two surnames, but I felt it was important to rescue the original Bible record and give it to the Historical Society for safe keeping. Hope someone will find this information useful.
