Sorry I have taken so long to reply, I have only just started researching my family history so have limited information. I was hoping I could provide you with more as I had been trying to contact Jeanette Smith only to find you were already in contact. I too have seen that entry on the 1891 census for George Hibbs. I have tried to make out the wife's names for hours. What seems strange is that when I have searched the date of deaths for Everelda and George if I have got the right details, George died in 1895 and Everelda 1900. The only way I can verify they are the correct people is contacting the records office in Hammersmith. Whilst I appreciate the age for the wife is too young, the places of birth appear correct for George and Everelda. If I can provide you with any further details, please contact me. I have tried to save to my PC what I think the relevant census pages are from 1891,1881,1871,1861 although the 1861 is more a number of coincidences because again the wife's name seems incorrect but the dates of birth for children all tie up and again the places of birth. Also on the 1871 census, Everelda is listed as Eva. If I have got my research right, as you say we are related through George and Everelda my grand father being David Hibbs with Ellen being his sister, senior to him by 11 years. I would be very grateful for any information you have to add to my tree. I am afraid that I have no further information on Everelda through the Tyrell line but I do live reasonably near to Bristol and so I will have to check the local records there. Once again sorry for the delay and thank you for replying. Notify Administrator about this message?
