Occupations of this family group have a common trend, all were employed on the railway which is the reason for the existance of Rowsley Village and subsequent address in Sheffield in Railway property.I would assume this trend started with Henry(dob1821)or his father who I think was Samuel(dob1803) from neary Bakewell.Otherwise this area of England was farmland with Tin mines being the only other main industry.There also appears to be a Quaker connection but this is also typ of the area.
