I've been researching Valentine & found much conflicting info. I am not sure that Valentine was married to Margaret Lyons. Do you have proof that the Samuel Hibbs that was married to Druscilla "Nancy" Downs is the son of this couple? If so I have much info on ancestors of Valentine & Margaret Hibbs. One source that I met on this forum told me that Valentine was in the Revolutionary War but all records that I have seen say he was born in 1777 which would be too late for service in that war.
