hi, all, im looking for THOMAS HEWITT my g/uncle, came over to the USA before 1880 and found him on the 1880 census working on a farm in ROCHESTER, LORAIN OHIO, i think.
Im told he got his own farm and became a county sheriff,
and was killed in a lightening storm attending to his cattle.
ive no idea what date that was but i think ive found him on the 1900 census living in ALLEGHENY PENNSYLVANIA.
so if anyone knows about him please let me know.
i would love to hear from you.
