Peleg W. Hewitt b.Feb. 23rd, 1822 Ontario Co.,NY. Settled in Livingston Co.,NY Feb. 23rd, 1837. His wife was Nancy Thompson b.July 15th, 1818 Franklin Co.,MA. They were married Dec. 18th, 1845. Five children:
1.Wilson S. Hewitt b.Oct. 21st, 1846
2.Cornelia Hewitt b.Feb. 14th, 1848
3.Alice F. Hewitt b.March 17th, 1850
4.Edwin C. Hewitt b.July 28th, 1854
5.Mary J. Hewitt b.Aug. 21st, 1861
