I am looking for information on John Hewitt born 1810 in Hawarden Parish, Flintshire, Wales.
He appears on the 1861-1891 census' for Flintshire variously as a general labourer and then mariner to master mariner.
His wife is Elizabeth, born 1813 and predeceacing her husband.
John died in 1897.
Their children:
Elizabeth b 1833
Mary b 1835
Louisa b 1842
Emily b 1848
John b 1851
William b 1854
and
Anne Jane b 1857/9
Anne Jane Hewitt is my gr-gr-grandmother. She was married about 1880 to Thomas S. Clingan b about 1852 in Fermanagh, Ireland and they resided in Liverpool, England with their children. Thomas S. Clingan was in the constabulary.
