does anyone have a hewitt line with a Norman Hewitt born somewhere bet 1800-1812 in NY? There is an Edmund Hewitt living nearby in albany ny that may be father or brother. Norman married an Almira Tuttle or Tuthill. First three children Ruth, Emily b 1836 and Almira were born in NY possibly willilamson, now wayne county in NY. Then the family is in ashtabula ohio at 1840 census where youngest daughter Mary is born. He is listed a a cholera victim in california where he died and the wife Almira and daughters are in Kane County IL where daughters married. Does anyone have a line that includes a Norman or Edmund from NY area?
