I have a picture that it is said to have been painted by a family member of a family member. The only clue I have is on the back of the picture. It is written Ruth E. Heck and an address but no city. The picture is of an old man smoking a pipe it is beautifully framed in gold. I believe maybe the name and the address could be who it is delivered to when it was framed. Relatives lived in Portland, oregon and in Idaho. This does not men it would be one of these places but could be. Anyone know a Ruth E Heck who is a painter?
