Looking for information on HARTUNG family 1800 Chauncy b. MA. Married a "Charlotte" prob. in MA. adopted dau. named her Catherine Cecila HARTUNG b. 1841 Boston, Suffolk Co., MA. Catherine marries a Rufus Leland BABCOCK 1860 in Roxbury, Suffolk Co., MA. 1880 Census indicates Chauncy's father born Germany and mother born MA, so his father is the immigrant. Does anyone have any info or ideas on this?
