I'm trying to track down info about the gunsmith, who built an old varmint rifle that I've recently purchased. The barrel is marked A.L. Hartung Pomeroy, O. I'm guessing it was built in the 50's or 60's. I believe the man's name was Albert, and as far as I know, he is deceased. He certainly did beautiful work.Interested in his basic life story if possible.
